Conferentie IAEA: ervaringen delen, maar ook vooruit kijken

Het Internationaal Atoomenergieagentschap (IAEA) organiseerde in samenwerking met het Joint Research Centre van de Europese Commissie de internationale conferentie ‘Working Together to Enhance Cooperation’. Deze conferentie vond van 4 tot 7 november 2019 plaats in Den Haag. De regelgevende instanties uit de hele wereld op het gebied van nucleaire veiligheid en beveiliging en stralingsbescherming waren aanwezig om kennis, ervaringen en geleerde lessen uit te wisselen. Uit de conferentie bleek dat het vooral belangrijk is om goed naar de toekomst te kijken, zodat de instanties voorbereid zijn op problemen waarmee zij later geconfronteerd kunnen worden.
